Thanks for your quick response Mathieu. I have resolved the issue. I had not created a YouTube channel. This seems to be a requirement before you can create a playlist.

I have the same issue today. I have no playlists in YouTube and tried on two different accounts to convert from Spotify to YouTube. Interestingly I have the same issue at playlistbuddy. This is the first time I have tried either app.
